DORIS LESSING  >> Read the short story "A Woman on a Roof" by Doris Lessing. You can access a complete analysis HERE.
Some important concepts:

• characters: men have names (Harry, Stanley and Tom), ages (45, 17), roles (workers)
• woman (no name) subverts the due image of women in patriarchal soceties (indiference & non-verbal communication)
• she makes no compromise to patriarchal society.
• woman shows her endowed power

MAYA ANGELOU >> "Phenomenal Woman" by Maya Angelou. A short analysis HERE. Who is Maya Angelou? She was a poet and activist. For more info, go HERE

• Embed the poem in your portfolio.
• ANSWER: Why is Angelou's poetry/literary production considered "feminist"?

 Portfolio 19:

• Read this ACADEMIC PAPER: "The Fall of the Berlin Wall and the Multiplication of Western Walls" by James Petras.
• Look up  a BIOGRAPHY of J. Petras and link it to the Portfolio entry. DO not resort to Wikipedia. Petras has his own webpage.
• read the paper (use READING STRATEGIES)
• pick up 4 or 5 KEY CONCEPTS and write them down 
• define them, explain them USING A PODCAST (one podcast per concept)
• paste the podcasts next to the concept that you have highlighted.

• There are MANY ways to record podcasts. Here goes an EASY one: 

• download an APP (free, without adds) and RECORD the podcasts. 
• Then SHARE it to your DRIVE. 
• go to the DRIVE and get the URL
• finally, paste it in your portfolio
• go to ENLACE/link,
• paste it there, as if it were a REGULAR link.
